NYC get ready—the finest of the Golden State has to offer is hitting Soho streets this week.California boasts some of America’s most intriguing homegrown arts. From pin striping to black and grey tattooing, the scene has birthed an innumerable amount of talent pushing local vernacular into the national conversation.

Artists featured: Estevan Oriol, Risk, OG Abel, Chuey Quintanar, Sal Elias, Maxx 242, Franco Vescovi, Tim Hendricks, Carlos Torres, Steve Soto, Placaso, Gustavo Rimada, Johnny Quintana, Manuel Cisneros, The Deadend Brothers, Ben Grillo, Alex Garcia, Tattoo Tony, Luke Wessman, Big Checho, Flaks, D.A. I  had a nice surprise this evening, The Game posted a pic of himself chilling on his Bentley wearing my Self Made Dues Paid  crew neck sweatshirt on his Instagram.  And I only made a few of these joints in red, I feel real blessed to have the west coast G rep one. Thanks Game. And thanks to my brother Toby for lacing him up with it. Friends are like family.

I recently had the pleasure and honor of tattooing this gentleman’s hand. Aaron Grenia senior stylest of Prive Salon New york.  I concider it a great honor to tattoo anyone who works with their hands and publicly for that matter.  Also Aaron has been tattooed by a couple of my favorite tattooers and just adding to his collection with the likes of Kahlil Rintye is a honor.  Great meeting you Aaron, till next time , be well.

Stations Of The Cross Art Show At Vatican Studios In California

This “Stations Of The Cross”  art show at Vatican Studios on April 7th at 6pm in Lake Forest is going to be so amazing to see, I really wish I could make it out for it.  The good news is that we will be showing some of the pieces at the “From Left to Right” art show Tribal Bobby and I are throwing on the 11th of April here in New York at Wooster Social.  I have no doubt that this wooden cross art show is going to be off the hook amazing.  If you are in the area that day make sure you go, Just tell my friend Franco the owner of Vatican that I told you about the show and encouraged you to go you will be welcomed.
