I would have loved to have been on a earlier episode where I could have really went off on the bad work being done. But at this stage of the competition, only six artist left, and they are all good tattooers. At this point it was really just nit picking the details as all the tattoos were great. Tune in next week to see what I say. Tuesday the 30th 10pm eastern time Spike TV

The morning after the #tapastattoos event at the W hotel union sq. Sergi and I had to fulfill our part of the bargain. He got the tattoo that won the vote from the night before and I had to apply it. It was great working with the W, its event staff and Sergi. A great progressive event for a great progressive company.

I have always thought there is a strong connection between tattooing and cooking. A chef much like a tattooer is an artist and in most cases passionate about their product.
Although my new exclusive shop is not officially open yet, I did end up finishing off my dear friend Sheldon’s sleeve on Saturday. The private studio doesn’t have a name yet and the location will never be made public. You will have to be a friend, or a friend of a friend to be able to get tattooed here, and It’s not that I’m “too cool” to make public, it’s that my clients are. #firstdollar
I had the pleasure of tattooing the lovely Jhene Aiko recently, here is a video that Complex made of the event.
