I sat down with my friend Jake Szufnarowski and had a hour long conversation about my life, my Lost Art Of The Gentleman thing, tattooing, fighting and some other stuff. I’ve done a little radio but this is the first time I have done a podcast. It was cool to do it with a friend. You can get the podcast on iTunes now or on Jakes Site. Thanks for listening. I had the honor to contribute a painting for my brothers company Violent Gentlemen’s first art show / season opener party. Who better to paint than Wayne Gretzky aka “The great one” who is credited with popularizing hockey in California, after his years with the Kings. It was fun painting a subject matter I’ve never really painted, hockey. (more…)
Amazing time at Oliver Peck’s tattoo marathon in Dallas. Nothing like spending time with dear friends. Friendship to me has always meant so much. When you grow up with friends instead of your actual family your friendships become family. I would do anything for my friends at any moment but that goes without saying. True friends never talk about you behind your back, but speak up for you if someone is. Thank you to my friends who are now family. Champaign for my real friends and real pain for my sham friends.
I’m very honored to announce that I will be tattooing non stop at Oliver Peckers friday the 13th annual tattoo marathon this friday starting at 12am. See you there.
One of the ideas of getting a 13 tattoo is that getting one tattooed on you wards off bad luck because it tricks bad luck as it approaches and thinks you already have it, in turn making it good luck.
I grew up working as a young kid, My brother and I would collect cans on at the beach in my hometown of Oceanside. At that young age I learned that hard Work Pays, do the work get the money seemed like a no brainer. I learned the respect for societies labor force, the men and women who work so hard to better their lives and the lives of their families, meanwhile adding to the country by all types of professions. As a kid I knew I personally had to work hard to survive and as I got older I realized that I didn’t want to just survive I wanted to thrive. I learned the value of smart work mixed with hard work, and thats where I am now, working as hard and smart as I can, luckily I really like what I do. I come form little and may never fully enjoy my success, but my family will. Happy Labor Day ! to all the people that work and keep this great country functioning and growing. “Work like a slave eat like a king” (more…)

I hopping the get close to a hundred, but having never done this event I’m not sure how it’s gonna go down. See you there. 13$ tattoo 7$ tip for good luck ! Check this video out – 13th Tattoo-a-thon
Jay Z Picasso Baby has officially brought Hip Hop to a new place in society. This is truly history in the making. I’m happy to see that progressive people exist at the MOMA and at HBO, thank you for making this possible. My respect for Jay Z grows all the time. I have great respect for people who come from little and do much. Self Made. This video has been released on You Tube.
Found it ! So my brother Brian and our nephew Jake were in town the last few days, it was Jakes first time in NY and we were doing as much tourist things as possible. Also on the agenda was find the new September issue of “Freshly Inked Magazine” with my mug on the cover. We found it at the 3rd place we looked, a Barnes & Noble, they had a stack of five, so we decided to leave one. I don’t know if you ever had your face on the cover of a magazine at a book store or a newsstand, but let me tell you its a pretty great feeling. I’m very thankful and happy to see some fruits of my labor, I’m blessed. Thanks again to Freshly Inked mag for letting me wear a suit, thanks to all my friends who always support me and wish me well, I’m nothing without you guys. It makes me proud to make my friends proud. We are all self made.
