Lostartofthegentleman now has over 4000 followers since we started its own Instagram account almost 9 weeks ago. It’s nice to see it blossom and be followed by good people that enjoy the post on being a gentleman, morality, sexuality, how to treat a woman, and things of that nature. Thank you to all the men and women that support. Bless. #LostArtOfTheG #lag
Lost Art Of The Gentleman

Brian and Dianna tied the knot last Saturday with a fairytale wedding. By far one of the nicest weddings I have ever been to, and I’m not just saying that because they are family. It truly was beautiful. So much hand done work and well thought out decor made this beautiful out door wedding a one of a kind just like the couple. The wedding was held at the Graf Barn a family ran venue in Oxnard California. To see more photos from the wedding via Instagram search the hashtag #talbertlove I love these two and am so happy they found each other in life and recognize that their love is real, and sealed the deal. (more…)
I sat down with my friend Jake Szufnarowski and had a hour long conversation about my life, my Lost Art Of The Gentleman thing, tattooing, fighting and some other stuff. I’ve done a little radio but this is the first time I have done a podcast. It was cool to do it with a friend. You can get the podcast on iTunes now or on Jakes Site. Thanks for listening. I’m very honored to announce that I will be tattooing non stop at Oliver Peckers friday the 13th annual tattoo marathon this friday starting at 12am. See you there.
One of the ideas of getting a 13 tattoo is that getting one tattooed on you wards off bad luck because it tricks bad luck as it approaches and thinks you already have it, in turn making it good luck.
Found it ! So my brother Brian and our nephew Jake were in town the last few days, it was Jakes first time in NY and we were doing as much tourist things as possible. Also on the agenda was find the new September issue of ”Freshly Inked Magazine” with my mug on the cover. We found it at the 3rd place we looked, a Barnes & Noble, they had a stack of five, so we decided to leave one. I don’t know if you ever had your face on the cover of a magazine at a book store or a newsstand, but let me tell you its a pretty great feeling. I’m very thankful and happy to see some fruits of my labor, I’m blessed. Thanks again to Freshly Inked mag for letting me wear a suit, thanks to all my friends who always support me and wish me well, I’m nothing without you guys. It makes me proud to make my friends proud. We are all self made.
I was pleasantly surprised yesterday with a sneak peak of the September issue of Freshly Inked Magazine, set the hit stands next week. I am very pleased with the picture, and honored to be on the cover.
I always joke that the fashion world has shown more love then my own industry, and then this cover happened out of the blue. But I’ve always said “I don’t represent tattooing, and tattooers…I represent myself, my friends, my family, and hard work” Life is more about personal relationship, then a culture or a career. Be good to people and good things happen.
This year my dear friend Tim Hendricks and I will be working together again at the Ink n’ Iron in Long Beach on the Queen Mary. Tim and I will be doing some tattooing, saying hi to friends, and selling some of the things we sell. I will also be releasing the Rose Book that I have been working on for the last year. Please stop by and say hello, will see you guys there.
