Thank You GQ Magazine for nameing me one of the top ten Tattoo artist to follow. Made my day.
I’m not usually too involved in politics, but I do try to stay current. And this young girls being kidnaped thing really touched me. When bad things happen to women or children it always seems extra severe. Bad things happening to innocent people in general always upsets me. Tonight I sit down with Oliver, Dave, and Chris to help judge this weeks episode of Inkmaster. I have a love hate relationship with tattoo “reality” shows. Like many of my peers its hard to see our beloved profession dumbed down to be consumed by the masses for entertainment, for that I hate it. But I love how it has helped some of my dear friends.
The Big Egg Hunt NY is coming to an end. You are now able to bid on this thing on the website. The very special thing about this one is, in over 15 years of painting I have done my best to never sell and any original artwork. I have painted tirelessly for over 15 years very consistently. Now since this one is for charity and out of my hands its a Luke Wessman original for sale, one of the very few. at the moment its only at 600$ which is nothing for such a unique art piece. It is a little big and hard to hang on your wall, but its a true art collectors dream.
I had the pleasure of being on Invisible Radio Yesterday, Episode 2. Troy Denning is a legendary tattoo artist and a very intelligent man, he commands a great podcast with a mixture of wit and knowledge. The wide verity of guest and the everyday shenanigans makes for a very entertaining show. I have faith that it will be a hit, already being on the “new & noteworthy” section doesn’t hurt either. Good luck Troy I look forward to more episodes. Thanks for having me on my friend. CS GPF
PS That monologue Troy gives at the end of episode 2 is so good.

Although my new exclusive shop is not officially open yet, I did end up finishing off my dear friend Sheldon’s sleeve on Saturday. The private studio doesn’t have a name yet and the location will never be made public. You will have to be a friend, or a friend of a friend to be able to get tattooed here, and It’s not that I’m “too cool” to make public, it’s that my clients are. #firstdollar
