So I painted this Painting of “The Great One” for a Violent Gentlemen art show a little while ago, then our friend Sheldon Souray took the original painting when he went to play golf with Wayne for him to sign. He singed the original before I made these 50 limited prints. Go to my “Merch” section if you want one. Thanks
I had the pleasure of lining up a few of my favorite artist for Inked Magazine to paint some of my all time favorite shoes with me, the Chuck Taylor.
The artwork that I did for the Go Vote / Jay Z and Beyonce On The Run Tour. #govote
The Big Egg Hunt NY is coming to an end. You are now able to bid on this thing on the website. The very special thing about this one is, in over 15 years of painting I have done my best to never sell and any original artwork. I have painted tirelessly for over 15 years very consistently. Now since this one is for charity and out of my hands its a Luke Wessman original for sale, one of the very few. at the moment its only at 600$ which is nothing for such a unique art piece. It is a little big and hard to hang on your wall, but its a true art collectors dream.
One of my rose tattoo designs has been entered in @ApothicWine’s Rose Tattoo promotion! Follow the link to vote for mine ! http://bit.ly/1nu4DN6 My friend Mary Joy from Tattoo city did one also that is great. but vote for me. Thanks.
While I was in California I stopped at Hurley to visit with my friend Ryan Hurley. He showed me this amazing Ed Hardy painting of a tiger he bought from Ed recently. Its a very large piece and a very important piece for any art collector. I felt fortunete to get a peak of this master piece as Ryan was measuring it for the framer. Ed Hardy is one of the most important men in tattooing and has played a huge role in its merge with the art world. He is a living legend. Thanks you Ed. (I think this thing was close to 4’x12′)
I had the honor to contribute a painting for my brothers company Violent Gentlemen’s first art show / season opener party. Who better to paint than Wayne Gretzky aka “The great one” who is credited with popularizing hockey in California, after his years with the Kings. It was fun painting a subject matter I’ve never really painted, hockey. (more…)
