I was just up in Toronto Canada for a day and I was fortunate enough to get over to The Pear Harbor Gift Shop. This shop is by far one of the coolest shops in tattooing. Kensington is the name of the neighborhood and I highly suggest getting tattooed there is you get the chance.
This Statue Of Liberty girl head was a fun one, although if you know me you know how I dislike the “day of the dead” face paint tattoo craze/trend. I don’t like the idea of taking a beautiful woman’s face and mudding it up with a bunch of nonsense. So on this one, I did my best to let this woman’s face stay as beautiful as possible. I have a huge respect for this in real life and know its a important part of the mexican culture, which I grew up very involved with in San Diego. Let the beautiful woman live for ever as tattoos and let the real life “day of the dead” celebration last on those few special days every year.
Started this one on Chad from North Carolina. It’s always a great honor to tattoo someone who, appreciates your personal style, and travels far to get tattooed by you. Thanks Chad.
The Virgin de Guadalupe is one of may favorite tattoos. I have two different versions on myself.
