Stalley -Sound of Silence music video. I went in to my shop on my day off to spend a minute with my friend Bj Betts who was doing a guest spot with us. Bj was tattooing a rapper named Stalley who is signed with MMG, I liked the dudes vibe he seemed legit, but thinking MMG ! I instantly judged him in my mind thinking he was probably just another hip pop artist…I was wrong..
Rib tattoo in progress, a slight spin on the classic St. Michael tattoo.
Attention all tattooers: Dan Dringenberg had approximately 20 machines stolen recently in the San Francisco area. Here is a list of all the machines with descriptions and their numbers. If you encounter someone attempting to sell any one of these machines please take the necessary course of actions. This picture below can be easily downloaded and printed out for any shop to keep as reference for the ‘shady’ machine vendors. Please keep your eyes and ears open, we all owe it to tattooing to help each other out. Thank you
Josh Ryan’s beautiful shots of Laura Christie from Agency Rouge. Whenever I feel like my blog needs a little more beauty, Josh Ryan is one of the photographers I look to for beautiful photos of my favorite type of art #women. Ashley Ann Harris completes the look with femme fatale-esque makeup.

By Thomas Morgan
What up y’all, for those who don’t know who I am, my name is Thomas Morgan from HB Tattoo in Southern California. As most of you already know, on November 21st the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum was taken away from all of us, doors locked forbidding access and collection taken hostage! The Amsterdam Tattoo Museum is the first museum that is totally dedicated to tattooing. It shows the world’s largest tattoo collection, collected by Henk (Hanky Panky) Schiffmacher. Fighting tooth and nail along side of Henk is his lovely wife Louise ‘The Queen’ Schiffmacher. In the midst of their year-long battle to save the Museum, Louise recently got news that she has liver cancer and needs a transplant. (Letter from Louise: http://ow.ly/gQj7f.) Now they need our support more than ever. That’s where we come in! We have recently teamed up with an Non-Profit Foundation based here in Huntington Beach, CA called “Fxck Cancer” a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Together, I think all of us in the tattoo community, along with Fxck Cancer can raise the funds needed to help out Louise, Henk and the Foundation… (more…)
The best thing about a rose tattoo is that they never get old, they are timeless. Rose tattoos are some of my personal favorites. This is a pic of some roses I freehanded on a guy from Germany years back and he came into the shop the other day at Wooster I took this pic. A lot of tattoos that some people do these days look real nice and fancy in the picture day of, but none of the new school no outline crap will maintain design integrity as nice as tattoo style tattoos.
Every month our dear friend Tommy Montoya comes back to Wooster Social and works, sometimes bringing his equally talented brother Mikey with him. We had a “last meal” dinner to see them off till next time at one of our favorite restaurants “Sons Of Essex” in the lower east side, In this pic we have from right to left Tim, Dave, Damian, Dukes lady, Mikey, Duke, Tommy, Jason, Balla, Evan, and yours truly.
