The Rock of Ages is one of my favorite classic tattoo images. I was very fortunate to be able to do this one on my friend Yanni Vera, he is a really good tattooer and a great person. It is always a honor to tattoo another tattooer but it is even more meaningful tattooing a tattooer who is a friend. (more…)
My friend Cm Punk’s new DVD “Cm Punk : Best in the world ” is set to be release on October 9th 2012 (today) a 3-disc DVD that has been called “one of the best WWE documentaries ever”. I happened to be in Chicago at the same time he was home and got a copy of his DVD last week. This documentary is a really great watch. It takes us through the long journey of his career and the many obstacles he has faced to get to the point he is at. (more…)
I went to see True Romance a few weeks ago with some dear friends at Hollywood Forever, a popular cemetery in Hollywood where they play different films on a wall in the graveyard during the summer months. The wife of late director Tony Scott spoke to the crowd, as well as Patricia Arquette. One of my favorite love stories, it’s been awhile since I seen this great movie, I”m so glad I went. (more…)
This year I made it back to London, I travelled with my good friend Forrest, owner of Cobra Custom Tattoo in Plymouth MA. We had a short trip but we most certainly made the best of it , and enjoyed every minute of it. It was good to be in a far off place and be surrounded with so many loved ones. I cant thank tattooing enough for all it has given me. Also special thanks to Mo and all his great staff at The Family Business for the hospitality.
This was fun tattoo, on a friendly Australian man who was a tattoo collector and was traveling the states for the first time with his wife. He wanted a regular Statue of Liberty at first but after showing him this Pin Up Statue of liberty drawing, he fortunately had a change of heart. Thanks for letting us do our thing with your idea, I know we were both happy with the results.
I’ll be hanging at the london tattoo convention a bit this weekend, Im really looking forward to seeing some of my favorite people / tattooers from all over the world. #JET$ET
For some time now I have been a fan of Amanda’s work, so when it came up to be able to do a shoot with her I was really excited. I don’t do “shoots” very often and I’m very proud to be a part of her body of work. I have done a post or two about her in the past, and its very cool to be a part of one now. Thanks Amanda your great.
