Every month our dear friend Tommy Montoya comes back to Wooster Social and works, sometimes bringing his equally talented brother Mikey with him. 2 Chainz “Birthday Song” feat. Kanye West. I never thought I would post a 2 Chains song on my blog as the modern/ignorant hip hop has never really appealed to me, I’m more of a Tupac and Wu-Tang era guy myself. (more…)
A rose tattoo I made the other day at my home base Wooster Street Social Club in soho Nyc. I always like to say “always in bloom” when I do a rose tattoo.
You really stumble upon so much when you surf the interweb, I was just surfing a bit and I was just thinking it was about time to add a little female art to my blog as it has been too long. Here we have model, Viktoria Sekrier, photographed by Jenny Brough from Nyachii’s Blog I really love this Photographers work, I love the style and the vivid colors she brings out. Beautiful.
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfit. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do, is ignore them because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. Because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs RIP (Advertisement from Apple Computer, adapted from the writings of Jack Kerouac
A painting for my friend Stephen
Today I tattooed this really nice kids ribcage, the tattoo took about 4 and a 1/2 hours. but was a tough one, any time your taking non stop pain for hours on end you really start to test the limitations of your tolerance. Luckily we made it though. Cool tattoo. “Count your blessings, not your burdens”
